Music&Media

Music&Media is a small company run by me, Nikolaj de Fine Licht. I have been developing for the Internet since 1997 and teaching web design and communication since 2000. Besides being a musician myself, I have run and still run cultural projects and institutions, the most important of those being Baroque Orquestra Concerto Copenhagen www.coco.dk which I founded together with two more musicians in 1991 and was administrator for until 1997.

I think technology is only interesting when it serves a purpose - communication and interaction. I find it an interesting challenge to develop logic structures, simplicity in design and intuitive navigation paths, which all together, most un-noticed possible, supports the reason why we do all this: communication.

This is why I use Lasso (www.omnipilot.com) for dynamic programming. Lasso is by far better designed, more intuitive and thus faster to use - even for complex solutions - it's more complete and rounded, in short: more "sexy" than any of the competitors, those being PHP, ASP or whatever...
