ArtGenda ’98 in Stockholm chose to locate all activities in Stockholms Kulturhuset, and the whole cultural centre was involved in the presentation of some 380 artists from cities participating. Again, curators discussed with the artistic committees of each city as to the selection and curating of the programmes with the visual arts, design and architecture, media, fashion, theatre, dance, new music, jazz and rock.
In 1998, ArtGenda developed a number of meetings, workshops and seminars with the artists which were all present for 10 days in Stockholm which gave a valuable opportunity for the artists. In particular, the Artgenda Salon with programmed meetings with professional critics, artists and the participants were held, was an important initiative.
