The development of ArtGenda Network project will be reflected in the organisation of supplementary activities from 2000,. These activities will partly relate to the biennial and partly be independent initiatives.

The ArtGenda Summer School will be arranged every second year with young artists. The first was held in August 1999 in Copenhagen. This involved artists selected to participate in the ArtGenda Biennial in Helsinki 2000 and included working sessions on the theme of "art and the city" Some 60 artists was participating in the Copenhagen Summer school.

The Artgenda Summer School will be arranged in the summer of 2002 in one of the Baltic States.

An ArtGenda Think Tank will be held regulary. In 2002 this will run parallel with the ArtGenda Biennial involving producers and administrators from the cities, and focussing on the theory and practice of creative partnerships in the arts.

Individual Artgenda Exchanges between the cities are also being planned to strengthen the links between young artists and between cultural institutions in the region.

Meetings and conferences in the participating cities is also being organised.

ArtGenda will also initiate collaborations with other European networks and institutions including The Nordic Council of Ministers, The Union of The Baltic Cities, Informal European Theatre Meeting, Biennale de les Jeunes Créateurs de la Mediterranée, Trans Europe Halles and Pepinéres.
